How to Choose a Vaporizer
Many of the manufacturers o vaporizers usually advertise their products as the best and healthiest there are in the market, while quietly suggesting that what other manufacturers are putting forth in the market is substandard, and dangerous to use. This makes a buyer’s decision making process tougher. They, therefore, need to know which heating elements are the best, despite the brand they will be packaged in.
Looking at the heating element of a vaporizer makes the most sense. These elements modulate the temperature that shall be used to catalyze the active ingredients, when that air passes through it. That air can be either forced through of flown through, by a pumping mechanism, or by forced inhaling by the user, respectively. The element need to maintain an accurate temperature setting. There are different kinds of heating elements commonly used.
There are ceramic heating elements. They are said to be the cleanest and thus the healthiest. This is dues to the fact that ceramic can withstand extremely high temperatures before it can reach boiling point. This is how they earned their positive reputation. This should not be taken to mean that other heating elements are any less, since their boiling points can never be reached in the operation of a vaporizer.
It should be made public the kinds of materials in the heating chamber, whether it is purely the ceramic, for example, or if there are other materials incorporated, which could affect the quality of the end product and its health implications. It is common for cheap vaporizer manufacturers to use more than one heating element material in the heating chamber, which is substandard, to attain such low prices. The only way to know is to ask the manufacturer what elements are present, apart from taking it apart.
The low-quality ones give ceramic vaporizers a bad reputation. High quality ceramic vaporizers are the best in the market. When combined with precision engineered circuitry and computer chip technology, they are also very accurate.
Aluminum is also another good heating element. Some say it is better than ceramic due to its faster eating response time. Despite the fact that its boiling point is lower than that of ceramic, it is still far too high to pose any health risk. This makes any claims that it increases risk to Alzheimer’s disease false.
Another one is glass. It has characteristics similar to ceramic.
When you consider all this, it becomes clear that choosing a heating element has more to do with personal taste than health concerns. Precision also, falls into the same category. The focus on health may lie with the plastic materials incorporated in the design. The more expensive the vaporizer, the better its heating element will be. For midrange ones, it is best to stick to the ceramic models.
