RALEIGH, N.C. – No. 3 South Carolina went 2- on Sunday at the Wolfpack Match Play to advance to the title bout on Monday. The Gamecocks had been dominant, shedding just a person match all working day.
“A stable couple of matches from our team, and very pleased with the knowledge we are attaining this 7 days,” claimed head mentor Kalen Anderson. “Wanting ahead to the championship match tomorrow.”


Carolina took down Notre Dame 4.5-.5 in the quarterfinals this morning. Junior Justine Fournand won 6&5, freshman Louise Rydqvist gained 5&4, graduate transfer Tai Anudit won 4&3 and Paula Kirner was victorious 1-up. Junior Mathilde Claisse’s match was tied via 15 holes, halving the match.


The Gamecocks turned about and defeated Louisville in the semifinals 4-1 many thanks to yet another spectacular performance. Fournand was dominant again, profitable 6&4. Rydqvist won 3&2. Claisse and Kirner just about every gained 2&1.


Carolina faces North Carolina in the championship tomorrow. Claisse will direct points off at 8:50 a.m. (ET). Are living scoring will be readily available through Golfstat.


The Gamecocks will be trying to get the team’s fifth win of the 2021-22 period, which would be a new system record.
